Meal Time Box kindly sent me a 10 Meal Box for review purposes.

My 10 Meal Box contained:

2 Guinness Beef Stew meals

2 Apple Pork Chop meals

2 Steak & Onion meals

2 Homestyle Chicken Nugget meals

2 Stewed Chicken meals

Total value = guesstimated around $100

The verdict...

Shipping is wonderful as you know exactly when to expect your shipment and they always deliver as promised. The customer service is great and they cater to your every need just by simply contacting them. They strive to give the best customer service possible. The value is worth what you pay when you factor in the cost of all the ingredients, the time and gas you would use to go shopping yourself, the time and energy you would spend cooking these meals from scratch and the shipping costs as well.

The beef stew was very good and the favorite item for my whole family in my box. All the ingredients went well together and tasted like something you made yourself.

My kids LOVED the Homestyle chicken nuggets and potatoes. I wasn't a huge fan of the nuggets as I prefer my nuggets crisp and obviously they aren't when you cook them in the microwave. The roasted potatoes were scrumptious and seasoned well and I'd eat them anytime. Day or night.

The rice and black beans with the stewed chicken were great as well. Rice and beans is something I love and I really enjoyed them.

The green beans with the steak and onions were very fresh and vibrant. They tasted wonderful. I love fresh veggies and you can tell they used the best they could for this meal.

The meals themselves are a great concept but I believe there are a few things that could be worked on.

I love how convenient  it is to just throw your vacuum sealed bags in the microwave but once its done cooking and you go to put it on your plate everything is kind of mixed together. Maybe the sides should be in a separate bag than the main entrée?

Also, some of the meat isn't the best after it's microwaved. Specifically the stewed chicken in my box. It came out kind of slimy (for lack of a better word). As someone who has to have her chicken with crispy skin and dry this was a bit of a deal breaker for me.

The pork chops would have been good if the swiss chard wasn't in the same bag with it. We weren't a fan of the chard and unfortunately since it was all in the same bag it made everything taste like it as it has a overpowering taste. So this comes back to maybe using separate bags for the ingredients. I wouldn't mind spending the few extra minutes to microwave a few bags to fix this issue.

Overall, this isn't a bad box at all. I would recommend this box to anyone that lives a busy lifestyle or that doesn't enjoy cooking but likes home cooked meals.

Graze Subscription Box FULL REVIEW + Coupon for FREE Box

Graze subscription box "shows off the tasty side of health and is delivered directly to you."

"From pure fruit, to wholesome treats and dips & dippers – their huge variety (100 snacks with millions of graze box combinations) means there's always something different to try so you’ll never be left standing at the vending machine feeling glum again!"

Graze is a "big advocate of portion controlled packaging which means that when you're feeling peckish you have just the right amount to make for a satisfying snack and you're not tempted to put your hand in the cookie jar."

Graze offers so many options to sign up!

Each 8 snack box costs just $11.99 including delivery.

Specialty 4 snack boxes, when available, cost just $6.99, including delivery.

Each sharing box, containing 5 sharing bags (about 20 servings), costs $25, including delivery.

In some instances shipping charges of up to $2.00 may apply.

"For 8 snack variety boxes and sampler boxes, the team in the graze kitchen pick your snacks based on your ratings ensuring you always receive the food you like. When you first sign up, everything in their range will be marked as 'try', so it's really important that you go through their range and let them know what you 'like' or 'love', and 'trash' anything you don't want to receive. On the sharing box page, you’ll be able to create a list of the snacks you’d like in your box. You’ll need to add a minimum of 10 (but as many as you like) and they’ll choose 5 from that list to send in each box. If there are some snacks you’re really looking forward to receiving, you can ‘star’ them and they’ll do their best to prioritize these in every box."

Currently, graze boxes can only be shipped to US addresses, including P.O. Boxes, within the 50 states.

"They've designed variety boxes (8 individual snacks) so that they will fit in most standard mailboxes, but they know this can vary. Their sharing box, containing 5 sharing bags, is also delivered by USPS and no signature is required, but the sharing box will not fit in a mailbox due to its larger size (24cm x 17cm x 17cm)."

"You will be signed up to receive regular deliveries when you sign up. You can change the frequency after you sign up on your orders page. They currently offer the option to receive a graze box either once a week or once every two weeks."

"Graze is not suitable for people with allergies. Their snacks are packed in a facility that also processes peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, milk, soybeans (soya), egg and fish, as well as sesame and sulfites. In addition to this, cross-contamination between any of their ingredients is possible."

Graze kindly sent me a box for review purposes.

My 8 snack variety box contained:

1 lemon drizzle flapjack

1 twist of black pepper popcorn

1 Thai sweet chili bites

1 chocolate pretzel dipper

1 vitamin C crush

1 salted fudge and peanut cookie

1 booster seeds

1 sour cream and garlic crostini

Total value guesstimated around $25

The verdict...

Where do I even begin?! We LOVE this box so. Graze truly has something for everyone.  You can clearly tell how much time and energy they spend choosing the most perfect items for their box. Everything in each pack goes together perfectly to make the best combinations and flavors.

The sauce in the Thai sweet chili bites goes wonderfully with the bites they give you to dip. The sour cream and garlic flavoring on the crostinis works so well and are one of my favorite items. The chocolate with the pretzels is like Nutella! Yummm! And those lemon drizzle flapjacks... My goodness! Those alone are worth the box. I cannot even describe how amazingly mouthwatering these are. Imagine the best lemon cake in the world and then times it by 100. Yep, THAT GOOD! They were our favorite item for sure.

The only item we wouldn't get again was the vitamin C crush. It was amazing in flavor but they were extremely chewy. So much so that every single person in my house had to spit it out because it was too chewy. Just because it wasn't for us doesn't mean you won't love it though!

The shipping it right on time. The value is without a doubt worth what you pay and plenty more. Finally Graze's customer service is worth talking about. They are so fantastic and do everything in their power to treat every customer like a friend or family!

The Purple Carrot kindly sent me a box for review purposes.

My box contained:

1 meal kit for Aloo Paratha with Mustard Seed-Scented Eggplant (8 oz Yukon Gold potatoes, 8 oz eggplant, fresh ginger, 1 lemon, 1 tsp curry powder, 1 onion, 3 garlic cloves, 1 can diced tomatoes, fresh mint, fresh cilantro, 2 whole wheat tortillas, and 1 1/2 tsp mustard seeds)

1 meal kit for Chilaquiles with Edamame Guacamole and Pickled Carrots (1 onion, 2 garlic cloves, 1 can crushed tomatoes, 1 tsp ground chipotle, 1/2 cup cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar, 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 12 oz carrots, 3/4 cup edamame, 1 lime, 1 avocado, 1 scallion, fresh cilantro, and 6 oz tortilla chips)

1 meal kit for Whole Wheat Fusilli with Mushrooms, Fennel, and Pecans (8 oz cremini mushrooms, 1 fennel bulb, 8 oz whole wheat fusilli, fresh parsley, fresh tarragon, and 6 tablespoons roasted pecans)

Total value = guesstimated around $80 to $90 with shipping cost

The Verdict...

I LOVE this box. The shipping is super fast. Kevin's customer service was superb. The value is wonderful for what you receive. If you add the price of what these products would cost you in the store, the price of shipping, and the value of your time for not having to go grocery shopping plus the cost of gas that would make this box extremely higher in value than what you pay for it. The products are so fresh and positively scrumptious. All the ingredients are vibrant in color and are without a doubt the best you can find.

The Whole Wheat Fusilli with Mushrooms, Fennel, and Pecans was my favorite which wasn't surprise as mushrooms are one of my favorite things in the world. I wasn't really sure if I'd care for the fennel as it has a black licorice flavor which I do not care for but it actually all went very well together.

The Chilaquiles with Edamame Guacamole and Pickled Carrots was wonderful. I was a little disappointed at first because this recipe required you to have a food processor and mine had recently broke so it didn't seem quite accessible for everyone to make. Fortunately I ran to my father's house and grabbed his and was able to make it because it was yummy. I love vinegar  (I can drink it from the bottle) and I believe the tang from the vinegar  ("pickled carrots") really made this recipe.

The Aloo Paratha with Mustard Seed-Scented Eggplant was definitely something different than what I would normally eat. I decided to venture out and give it a try anyways. I am happy I did. The potato filled tortilla reminded me of a perogie and was mouthwatering good. The eggplant "salsa" mixture complimented it well. I did omit the ginger as I had a bad aversion to ginger during my last pregnancy and unfortunately I still can't stomach it. I believe it still tasted fantastic regardless.

Wineawesomeness kindly sent me a box for review purposes.

After speaking with Eric, who was absolutely wonderful to correspond with, he promptly shipped me a box. I received it within a few days and it came in a huge Blue Box with a handle that made it so easy to carry. A signature was required at delivery to ensure only recipients 21 and over received this box which was fabulous.

My box contained:

1 bottle of 2014 Boatman Red Blend (retails for around $13)

1 bottle of 2013 Pellegrini Chardonnay (retails for around $22)

1 bottle of 2013 Rickshaw Cabernet Sauvignon (retails for around $19)

Total value = around $54

Boatman Red Blend wine is deep purple in color. The nose is fragrant with ripe plum, vibrant and juicy black cherries, a pinch of earth and plenty of pomegranate. The palate is generous with ample texture and weight. Best paired with Maple Glazed Salmon.

Pellegrini Chardonnay is bright straw in color. Fresh aromas and flavors of Bartlett pear, Gala apple, hazelnut, hay, nougat, marzipan and lemon zest. A rich mouth feel extends into a long finish. Enjoy this style of Chardonnay with appetizers, or with simply prepared unadorned seafood. Best paired with Pan-Seared Sea Scallops.

Rickshaw Cabernet Sauvignon has a slight rustic and graphite red tilt to it. Cedar and cherry come together nicely in this complex but equally versatile wine. Enjoy this with steak or fish. Best paired with BBQ Turkey Sliders.

The Verdict...

This box is a huge hit for wine lovers or beginners both.  The shipping is super fast and secure. The customer service is what amazing companies are made of. The packaging is awesome and definitely one of the coolest boxes I've seen. The value is worth every penny and is worth more than you pay. The wine is delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed each one and love that you can choose the kind of wine that you know you would enjoy the most. One of my favorite items in this box is The Backlabel book they send along with your wine. It contains information on each wine and a recipe for each one as well to pair your wine with. I am always in the kitchen and cooking is one of my passions so this earned infinite points in my book.

I highly recommend this subscription box. It's definitely not your typical wine club as they are so much more than that.

Subscribe today and get a FREE box on me. Yes, I said FREE wine! All you have to pay is shipping. How awesome is that? It's WINEAWESOME!
