My box contained:

1 Human Light Bulb (valued around $5)

1 Thomas Edison Biography (valued for $6)

1 Monthly Challenge "Make A Circuit Board" with all the supplies needed to complete (valued around $10 to $15)

1 Monthly Mind Bending Puzzle "Wire Teasers" (valued around $10 to $15)

1 Pencil (valued around $1)

1 Brain Eraser (valued around $1)

Total value= around $33 to $43 plus the cost of shipping which is included to make the value around $40 to $50.

The verdict...

What a fantastic box! As a mother that is always encouraging my children to get off of the electronics and to engage in something more educational and stimulating for the mind, I thoroughly enjoy this box and everything it stands for.

The shipping is fast and shipped just as stated. I was happy that they include a shipping notification and tracking so you can see exactly where your box is at all times. The customer service was great and helpful. They respond quickly as well. The value of this box is right on the money once you include the cost of shipping.

My kids (and myself) highly recommend this box to other kids (and parents).

My oldest son was super excited about the wire teasers and has mastered them which gave him quite a sense of accomplishment.

We read the Biography on Thomas Edison together as a family and loved it.

It was wonderful to see my kids eager to try the human light bulb and to see them running around trying to build up enough static electricity to make it work!

Finally, the Monthly Challenge was so great to stimulate my children's minds and to spend some quality family time together to work on it. What a great educational activity to complete. Thanks, MyEduCrate!

Toy Den Nerds February EXCLUSIVE Sneak Peek + FULL REVIEW

Toy Den Nerds is an awesome new subscription box that is ran by an adorable couple who loves all things nerd related. They started off with a live streaming show opening Funko Mini Blind boxes and showing off their collection of Walking Dead and other action figures in their collection. As they started to get viewers they decided to start selling off their collection to them. They decided instead of going into the world of EBay they would make subscription boxes of exclusive pops and other items from their collection that are brand new. So they have now moved on to partnering with some amazing talent to bring you a monthly subscription box.

The truly special thing about them is that in every box they are featuring an independent comic book artist/writer or full comic book.  Their hope is to get these comic books signed as well. They want these boxes to bring the independent/unheard-of people into the spotlight and let the world see these talented people being introduced into the world. They are fully committed to bringing these boxes to the masses and getting the smaller named comic book artists and writers into the main stream and get them some great exposure.

They also still stream live on Friday nights at 8pm MT on YouTube with some hilarious shows.

Their subscription box is $30 a month plus $8.50 shipping. You can contact them for international orders.

Each box is to contain:

- Funko Pop HOT TOPIC EXCLUSIVE

- Funko Mini From Their Personal Collection

- Unopened Action Figure From Their Personal Collection

- Signed Comic from their Featured Talent

- Tee shirt (Don't Forget To Give Them Your Shirt Size)

- Other Fun Items

- An Autographed Picture of Them

Toy Den Nerds is so wonderful that they are donating 10% of February 2016's and March 2016's sales to Make-A-Wish Foundation!

Toy Den Nerds kindly sent me a box to give you all an EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PEEK and for review purposes.

My box contained:

1 signed copy of Powerverse Issue 1 Robo1 Defender Of Earth (comic itself valued at $4 but with the autograph it makes it worth more so I'll value this at $20)

1 Spiderman Tshirt (around $15)

1 Beetlejuice Funko mini figurine (valued around $6 - $10)

1 Hot Topic Exclusive Funko Pop Mystery (Superman) (around $16)

1 the BiG BANG THEORY bracelet (around $5)

1 Transformers 2 series Collectible figurine (around $4)

1 mini Mr. Potato Head as Hulk (around $14)

1 Star Wars Episode 1 Collection 1 Battle Droid figurine (around $12)

1 Jurassic World slap band (around $6)

1 Minions air freshener (around $5)

Total value= around $107!!!

The verdict...

This is one of my favorite subscription boxes I've received! I love that it comes from a home based company with 2 really cool people. Geek/Nerd boxes are the best! They are a huge hit in my home as we LOVE all things geek, nerd, and pop culture related.

The shipping was quick and I really enjoy that they wrapped the box in a recyclable brown paper so it was just like unwrapping a gift. The value is outstanding and truly one of the best I've ever gotten. With the $30 price tag i received over $100 worth of products! Joseph's customer service was fantastic. It showed how much he loves and believes in what he does and I greatly appreciate that.

My favorite item was actually the Funko Beetlejuice mini as Beetlejuice has been a favorite of mine since I was a little girl!

I also love getting T-shirts in boxes so this was a hit as well.

My kids argued over almost every item in the box which means it was a win for sure! There wasn't one thing in this box that we didn't thoroughly enjoy and love.

I was a little disappointed that I didn't receive my autographed picture of them as I really like them and would loved to have added it to my collection.

I also would love to see a little work on their website. It seems a little plain as of now and not a whole lot of information.

Overall, I highly recommend this box! As a company starting out they know what they are doing. If you love geek/nerd boxes and products then you must subscribe to this box! You're going to love it! Plus you can't forget that they are so generous and are giving back by donating portion of sales to Make-A-Wish Foundation which is the icing on the cake.

Meal Time Box kindly sent me a 10 Meal Box for review purposes.

My 10 Meal Box contained:

2 Guinness Beef Stew meals

2 Apple Pork Chop meals

2 Steak & Onion meals

2 Homestyle Chicken Nugget meals

2 Stewed Chicken meals

Total value = guesstimated around $100

The verdict...

Shipping is wonderful as you know exactly when to expect your shipment and they always deliver as promised. The customer service is great and they cater to your every need just by simply contacting them. They strive to give the best customer service possible. The value is worth what you pay when you factor in the cost of all the ingredients, the time and gas you would use to go shopping yourself, the time and energy you would spend cooking these meals from scratch and the shipping costs as well.

The beef stew was very good and the favorite item for my whole family in my box. All the ingredients went well together and tasted like something you made yourself.

My kids LOVED the Homestyle chicken nuggets and potatoes. I wasn't a huge fan of the nuggets as I prefer my nuggets crisp and obviously they aren't when you cook them in the microwave. The roasted potatoes were scrumptious and seasoned well and I'd eat them anytime. Day or night.

The rice and black beans with the stewed chicken were great as well. Rice and beans is something I love and I really enjoyed them.

The green beans with the steak and onions were very fresh and vibrant. They tasted wonderful. I love fresh veggies and you can tell they used the best they could for this meal.

The meals themselves are a great concept but I believe there are a few things that could be worked on.

I love how convenient  it is to just throw your vacuum sealed bags in the microwave but once its done cooking and you go to put it on your plate everything is kind of mixed together. Maybe the sides should be in a separate bag than the main entrĂ©e?

Also, some of the meat isn't the best after it's microwaved. Specifically the stewed chicken in my box. It came out kind of slimy (for lack of a better word). As someone who has to have her chicken with crispy skin and dry this was a bit of a deal breaker for me.

The pork chops would have been good if the swiss chard wasn't in the same bag with it. We weren't a fan of the chard and unfortunately since it was all in the same bag it made everything taste like it as it has a overpowering taste. So this comes back to maybe using separate bags for the ingredients. I wouldn't mind spending the few extra minutes to microwave a few bags to fix this issue.

Overall, this isn't a bad box at all. I would recommend this box to anyone that lives a busy lifestyle or that doesn't enjoy cooking but likes home cooked meals.
