After speaking with Eric, who was absolutely wonderful to correspond with, he promptly shipped me a box. I received it within a few days and it came in a huge Blue Box with a handle that made it so easy to carry. A signature was required at delivery to ensure only recipients 21 and over received this box which was fabulous.

My box contained:

1 bottle of 2014 Boatman Red Blend (retails for around $13)

1 bottle of 2013 Pellegrini Chardonnay (retails for around $22)

1 bottle of 2013 Rickshaw Cabernet Sauvignon (retails for around $19)

Total value = around $54

Boatman Red Blend wine is deep purple in color. The nose is fragrant with ripe plum, vibrant and juicy black cherries, a pinch of earth and plenty of pomegranate. The palate is generous with ample texture and weight. Best paired with Maple Glazed Salmon.

Pellegrini Chardonnay is bright straw in color. Fresh aromas and flavors of Bartlett pear, Gala apple, hazelnut, hay, nougat, marzipan and lemon zest. A rich mouth feel extends into a long finish. Enjoy this style of Chardonnay with appetizers, or with simply prepared unadorned seafood. Best paired with Pan-Seared Sea Scallops.

Rickshaw Cabernet Sauvignon has a slight rustic and graphite red tilt to it. Cedar and cherry come together nicely in this complex but equally versatile wine. Enjoy this with steak or fish. Best paired with BBQ Turkey Sliders.

The Verdict...

This box is a huge hit for wine lovers or beginners both.  The shipping is super fast and secure. The customer service is what amazing companies are made of. The packaging is awesome and definitely one of the coolest boxes I've seen. The value is worth every penny and is worth more than you pay. The wine is delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed each one and love that you can choose the kind of wine that you know you would enjoy the most. One of my favorite items in this box is The Backlabel book they send along with your wine. It contains information on each wine and a recipe for each one as well to pair your wine with. I am always in the kitchen and cooking is one of my passions so this earned infinite points in my book. 

I highly recommend this subscription box. It's definitely not your typical wine club as they are so much more than that.

I was beyond excited to receive this box (and so was my family obviously) because I LOVE CHEESE! I am also located very close to them and grew up on cheeses and other yummy items from Amish Country and let me tell you, if you've never had cheese from Amish Country you HAVE to try it! It truly is the best cheese you can get.

My Large Cheese Trunk contained:

1 block of Biery's Colby Jack cheese (guesstimated retail around $4)

The Verdict...

I am so in love with this sub box. It is absolutely positively delicious. The shipping was fast and well protected as it was boxed inside of another box. The value of the box was exactly what you pay for it. The customer service is wonderful. Tim is dedicated to making his customers happy and puts his heart and soul into his company. The products are amazingly good. You can tell a lot of time and energy go into finding the best products for this box. Everything worked perfectly together.

The Blackberry jam is so delectable that you could easily eat it out of the jar with a spoon. I would probably do the same with the Dijon mustard as I am a mustard fanatic. The crackers are perfect. I had to hide them from my husband because he would of ate them all in one sitting. He kept asking me where we could buy them. 😂 Finally, the cheese. Oh yes, the cheese. Melt in your mouth cheese. Sooooo good!

After researching and speaking with an amazing customer service representative, Courtney, we decided I would review The Match Up because their Made For You box does not send color lighter than your natural color. I am naturally a medium brown but do my hair blonde so this was not a fit for me. That being said, I completely understand why they do that as going lighter than your natural color should really be done by a professional because a lot of times it can go very badly if you attempt to do it by yourself.

I was then sent The Match♡Up box at a discount for review. It shipped super fast! I believe I received a shipping notification within 1 to 2 days of placing my order and then received my box at home within 1 to 2 days of getting my shipping notification. I LOVE fast shipping!

The box was received in great shape and no damage. Inside of the box was a card tailored to me and what I ordered and a really nice cloth bag that contained all of the products that I had ordered.

The card also had a L♡ve note that said "Flyaways can be a huge winter annoyance. Tackle these wayward strands by spritzing an old toothbrush with hairspray and brushing down the problem zones." LOVE the tip! Thanks, eSalon!

The verdict...

If you bought any of the add-ons, you got free shipping on your free first box and your additional products. I decided to try a beautiful eyeshadow palette for about $15.

They shipped my eyeshadow palette right away. I believe I received it by December 24th. The colors are stunning and I definitely scored by getting this for $15.

My January Box was shipped on the 30th or 31st of December and I received it January 2nd, 2016 so exceptional shipping speeds indeed.

The box contained:

1 Tali nail polish ($14 on their website)

1 Marika nail polish ($14 on their website)

1 Dusty Orchid Shimmer Full-Coverage Lip Crayon ($20 on their website)

Overall value of this box is $48 so definitely the $40 value they promise.

The Tali polish is categorized as "liquid holographic." It is not something I would normally wear as it's a shiny blue but it will be a good polish for my daughter. 

The Marika polish is categorized as "matte metallic." Again this isn't a color I would wear often. Maybe for going out or holidays. It's cute though and definitely a keeper. 

The Dusty Orchid lip crayon is soft and glides on perfectly. It smells like a nice chap stick. I have so many colors like this so I would have preferred a different color but will still keep it as it's a great crayon.

The Verdict...

The shipping and value of this box were spot on. The products were so-so for me personally. Keep in mind that you can completely customize your box to whatever products you like. I, myself, like to see how spot on the companies are that require me to take a quiz to "know what's for me" and send me the products they choose by my results. They may have missed the mark a little on this one but I'm still happy with my purchase from the palette alone.
